NO MODS YET! 20" Enkeis with NT420 performance tires coming soon...inspired by genxer36.
Hey how'd you get this done? Dealer or factory? Can it fit on an Access Cab?

Check out post #15 on the first page.......it was a local install through the dealer, and this is an access cab.

If anything a sunroof adds room to a vehicle. The glass closes on the high side. I had the same problem in a maxima. Pre sunroof, I had to slouch. After the sunroof, I could sit up.

Electric sunroofs installed should be around $800-$850. This is what I was quoted a few years ago.

I had ASC install one in my 1999 Taco. ASC used to make the 80's & 90's Mustang convertible also the sunroofs in the 90's grand cherokee's. It was $1200 back then. Never leaked, it would pop up or slide back in the roof. The back bottom of the cab had a little tubes that stuck out less then a 1/4 inch for draining. It had four buttons pop up, open, close & one set the roof to close when the key was turned off. It was a shop in Northbrook IL. They are gone and I tried google and could not find them.

I have a NON factory power sunroof in my Cherokee (yes i know i have a cherokee..but not for long)
and it doesnt really leak, but in the winter condensation builds up on the interior side of the glass an i can wipe water bubbles off the glass so that kinda sucks the only thing i noticed that kinda fixes it is leaving the cover open so theres no barrier between the glass and the heat in the cherokee

but i think toyota needs to add this to the TRD versions atleast

I'd definitely add an electric one with sliding cover (gotta be able to block it out, AZ sun is murder in the summer). That was one of the harder things about trading in my G35 with loosing... loved driving with the sunroof back or tilted.

That roof looks like a Webasto Hollandia 710. They have a new cover for the control panel. It covers the lights & temp. gauges.

If you are talking about the inside cover, no. It just slides closed or open, it does not come out.

I think he meant does it slide up and back when opening, or does it slide under the roof/above the interior ceiling. Personally I prefer it staying under the exterior roof to protect the glass, even if above and out angled looks sweet.

If that's the case, yes it slides in between the roof and headliner.
