    Okay folks,

Need your help, i've searched endlessly on the internet.
I ordered an OEM gentex mirror (with monitor) and I'm trying to retrofit it into my 05.

I don't want to go out and buy the harness (not going to work in my situation)

All I need is someone to go out and take some pictures of the plug so I can see the wire colors (both sides of the plug please)

    It's the 14pin plug
*Those with the camera need to pop off the plastic cover on the mirror, separate the connectors and take pics
*Those that dont have the camera, just need to pull down the harness from the headliner (from what I hear)

I have the mirror, so I do not need pictures of the plug on the mirror side. I need pictures of the plug on the headliner side (if that makes sense)

THANKS TO ANY IN ADVANCE that can help me out.
(I already saw pictures from the "camera on all the time" thread..)

For a 2010, the connector is reference designator I8. Here are the pins:
1 Light Green, IG, switched +12 VDC
    2 White/Black, E, power ground
3 Red, REV, reverse (+12 VDC when transmission is in reverse)
    4
    5
    6 White, CV-, video ground
7 Red, CV+, video input to mirror
    8
    9
    10
    11
    12
13 Shield (no color), CGND, camera power ground and shield
14 Black, CB+, + 6 VDC power output to camera

When viewing the female plug (truck plug, not mirror plug), viewing the mating end (the end without wires), with the latch on top, Pin 1 is the upper left, pin 7 is the upper right, pin 8 is the lower left, and pin 14 is the lower right.

I don't have the wire colors for the mirror side.

The plug body is Toyota part number 90980-12370. The repair wire is 82998-24290. A repair wire is a 6-inch piece of wire with one female terminal crimped onto it.

    Good luck.

    You freakin' ROCK!
I just tried it out and worked the first time

Any idea's which one 4,5,8-12 are?
Would like to get the auto dim to function while it's apart.
(or does it work based off the 12v and ground?)

I need to find an FSM, but couldn't find one online. The closest I found was on a tundra forum (with a 14 pin.. but the colors were different)

Again, either way, thank you for posting that up
