So I've been lurking around this forum while I have been in the market for a new truck.

I am in the market for a 2011 Black TRD Sport Double Cab Taco, but unfortunately I'm told that there isn't one available in California, Arizona, or Nevada by the dealers. When I inquired as to why there were so few black trucks on the ground I am told that the factory that produced the pigments was destroyed by the tsunami and earthquake.

Has anyone else heard about this or any news if black will be unavailable if they possibly roll out the new gen's for 2012? I am on the fence if I should hold out or settle with Magnetic Gray.

BTW this site rocks. love all the user friendly mod threads :D

Magnetic Grey is sick, I own it and I love it, hides the scratches not bad either.

I'd probably settle for MGM then repaint it MGM 'cause MGM is badass. But if you really want black, then you should go for MGM.

I just came into a similar problem, I went into a dealership this past week to trade my 08 access cab prerunner in for a double cab 4X4 and in 5 states they could only get me a white TRD sport with those options, other wise I would have to wait until August or so.
