I think we are going to sell em at an intoductory price of $350.00 We are desighing alightbar mount for it this week. Do ya think that would be cool? You would have the option to buy them with or without lightbar.

very cool and I'm interested for sure. So in order to get the remote connected would you have to open the hood? Or is there enough room to plug it in through the slats of the grill? what about getting to the clutch to release the winch? Also for those who have lights behind the grill would it still work?

You can access the recepticle by plugging the remote in right between slots on the grill. It worked out pretty slick. In order to freespool the winch you have to open the hood and you can reach down to engage or disengage drum. Keep in mind we are using a warn m8000. Some of those bigger bulkier winches wont work with this mount. Im not sure about your lights. It depends where you have them @ behind the grill. If you have any other questions im more than happy to answere them. Thanks

Looks good! Nice to see this readily available. Not sure how much I like the "& soon to be rusty expensive aftermarket bumper." part. Just throwing it out there.

Have you tried to stall the winch yet? What kind of stresses can this mount take?

Good luck with sales, looks cool!

First of all i would like to say thanks for the feedback. And to answere your questions this winchmount has four seperate attatching points . Two of them are obviously to the frame ears where the factory bumper was bolted to. And two more underneath next to your factory tow hooks. Welded & gusseted in all the right places. Making this mount lightweight yet extremely strong. You would literlly tear the ears of the frame off before you could break this mount. Im curious how many attatching points do these aftermarket bumpers have? Sorry if i offended you with the soon to be rusty part. But living in the midwest the reality is snow&salt in the winter & heat&humidity in the summer. Speaking from experience, ive had a few different aftermarket bumpers on some of my other vehicles. No matter what paint or powdercoat etc etc, after one winter or two your looking at a rusty expensive bumper. I am trying to make time to get some video footage with the mount in action. Hopefully in the next few weeks. Thanks again for your input

They are made out of 3/16 coldrolled steel. A good friend of mine has been doing the welding. He is a certified welder with close to 20 years of structural welding & fabrication.

Hey guys how is it going. I just noticed there were a few more question for me. As of right now shipping is included in the intro price. In the U.S. except for Alaska & Hawaii. Im not sure about those two. I would have to look into Canada as well. Hopefully i will have time to install the lightbar & lights this weekend or early next week. & i will try & get some pics of it added to the website. Thanks again for your input.

I suggest doing a write up on a local customer with detailed pictures. It will push a lot of members over the edge including I to buy one. looking forward to seeing the end result.

Dang it, very tempting... I'm going to have to look at the pictures again and see if my N-Fab light bar is going to get into the way. The only concern I have is the access to the remote box and the clutch lever, but I'm thinking I would install the remote box in a different location. Decisions decisions......
