    im biased to 2wd since i have one, butttt im in california and there isnt many 4x4 only trails, some, but not many. i got a 2wd trd or because it has the locker. i just drive within my trucks limits and all is well. but Oregon i would say bite the bullet 4x4

    2wd suits me just fine. I put on a lot of highway miles, and 99% of the time I'm on paved roads. And I enjoy getting better fuel economy and having less maintenance overall (transfer case, etc.). Also, the Auto LSD function works wonders in the snow. To me a "truck" is meant for hauling and towing, and 2wd trucks can haul just as much as their 4x4 counterparts.

    But I must say, as much as I love my 5 lug, I would have gone with a 4x4 truck if money wasn't a factor...but it would have been a 4x4 diesel. :D

    BTW the locker wont help you out on snow, if anything itll make it worse. much harder to drive and turn, unless your already stuck, it will help get you out.
