Hey guys, Ive been noticing that my truck seems like it has no power for some reason (4.0 V6). I already replaced my sparkplugs about 6 months ago and use 91 gas. It sounds fine at idle. Also, when I drive with my A/C on it is extra bad. Has anyone else had this issue or noticed this?

some of this, a little of that
have you kept up on all the maint.?

Did you gap the plugs correctly?

Did you have a power loss immidiatly after changing the plugs or has this been gradual?

try a different gas station, and if that changes things, change your fuel filter as well.

Got a DIY with pics?

OP, if you're going to replace the muffler bearing, might as well flush the halogen fluid as well...

I kinda agree that you just need to run it to redline every once in a while. As long as your not throwing codes it's something to try at least. Strong engines need workouts, just like people IMO

Is AFE an oiled filter? If so, check your MAF sensor for oil build up.
As for gaping plugs, we have platinum plugs if im not mistaken. DO NOT adjust the gap on platinum plugs.
There are so many different things that can cause a lack of power you may want to take it to a shop and have it looked at.
