question about locking doors

    hey whats up everyone. this is just a random question.. i have a 2011 prerunner sr5 double cab. i wanted to know if you dont actually hit the lock button on the keyless, will it lock. i believe it should but how long does it take?

    You sure that answers your question?! Sounds like you wanted to know, if you got out of your truck after driving and walked inside without hitting the lock button, would it lock on its own? I dont believe and doubt it does. It only "self-locks" if you hit the unlock button "first" and then either take to long or decide not to open the door- then it will lock again.

    True- someone might pipe in with- but I have this "insert brand name" alarm and it locks when I drive and when I speak to it... I thought all Tacoma's did that... derrrr
