My black Taco actuall stays pretty clean. I think it might be because the paint is still newer (15 months old) and I try to wax it at least every 6 months, but I've been surprised about how it looks after a couple weeks. And a California Car Duster goes a long way to keep it looking clean.

Of course it depends on the tire wheel combo. The more the tires stick out the more it slings up on the paint. Mine is still stock so it stays pretty clean.

My truck is silver so it's easy to keep clean. I usually wash and wax it once every month or two, but not at all during the winter.

My MGM is pretty easy to keep clean. Haven't had a chance to wash her in the last couple of weeks though. We've been moving in to our new house. Come Monday when I'm off though it'll be time for some TLC. I've got to get her inspected and change the oil.

MGM easy to keep clean? That is a first. What kind of climate/road conditions do you have where you live? Or do you just keep the thing in your garage all the time?? :D

Mines really hard to keep clean because I'm always playing in the dirt.

Can anyone comment on whether it is easier to keep Magnetic Gray or Nautical Blue clean?

This ^ Either I'm very picking or MGM is extremely difficult to keep clean.

I feel the silvers or the "tans" would be the best colors to "hide the dirt" in the Tacoma Line. All the colors you have choosen are going to show the dirt more do to being darker colors...

Nautical Blue is pretty easy to keep clean actually. Even after going to my cottage for a weekend it was hard to tell it was dirty.

Pyrite mica always looks ok with minimal effort... and I live on a dirt road.

I have Impulse Red. It needs to be kept clean to look good.
I pay $30 a month for an unlimited pass to the local Super Sonic car wash.
I hit it 2-3 times per week.
I try to keep my truck looking spotless, I must be OCD.

The wash I get would be $12 a pop if I did not buy the pass.
Takes less then 10 minutes and looks perfect every time.

Silver Streak Mica looks clean even when covered in mud. This is right after a 3 hour wheelin' trip through some dirt, sand, and mud.

I've owned my SSM for 8 months now and only washed it twice. Had 3 black vehicles and one dark blue and was always washing them every other weekend.

I don't want to remove the protective layer that has built up over time. I really don't want to see the scratches and paint dings I know are hiding under there. Silver really hides most crude.
