I could understand being pissed about a scratch on the body of the truck...but in the bed??? Seriously??? My bed has scratches in it, along with some streaks of paint and dirt...I use the bed a lot...that's why I bought a truck.

    rofl. this thread is awesome.

All the macho stuff aside, I feel OP's pain about scratching your new truck. Even though its in the bed. Its one of those things that just rides in your mind... not for practical reasons... but for no other reason than your truck is no longer 'perfect'. It has had it's cherry popped for lack of a better term :D

But hey that's why we have a truck right? You'll get over the scratch. Unless you bought an x-runner or otherwise wish to rice out your truck... in which case I will join the pointing and laughing :)

In the meantime, just use a sharpy or paint pen or something.

This, if you are that worried about someone stealing a bed mat.
