So I am looking at this tacoma. Its an 06 TRD Sport DCSB Ivan Stewart Edition (honestly didn't know they made one for tacomas). 40,xxx miles from a dealer here in reno.

The good:Very few scratches, low miles, BFG 285/70s, already lifted, drives nice

The bad: Cant tell what lift it is, previous owner rattle canned the wheel wells and frame (poorly) for what I assume is to prevent rusting, 6 inch scratch down to metal on bumper.

I got them down to $26k plus taxes and licensing. What do u think?

No Way! I wouldn't pay over $22,000 dollars for any 06 in perfect shape! Never mind you have no idea what it's been through unless you personally know the previous owner. Now with that said, here in PA prices are cheaper, so out there a grand more maybe, but $26 is to high!

Okay I know this may sound like a dumb question, but since I do not see it in your post, I'm asking. Is it 4 wheel drive?

I have to apologize, after researching the Ivan Stewart Edition I see some paid $45K new for them. That edition may be worth more than I though. Tough call! I bought mine new in 2006 and the sticker was $32,876 But I got it for less.

    Appreciate the feedback.

4x4 for sure. If anyone paid 45k for a new tacoma they should be kicking in the balls.

I think i'll try and get them down a little more.

Im confused about the lift. Couldn't really see what it was cuz it was covered in a black plastic thing, but i don't think it was stock.

No not specifically looking for it. Went in looking at bases cause everyone wants an arm and a leg for TRDs out here but found this one.

you could always wait for something else, kind of sucks going that route. also why not try buying from a dealer somewhere else? a few dealers around me have trucks for sale like that and after shipping/flying in/driving/etc you will definitely be saving money

For 2-2,500 more you could be getting a brand new trd OR v6 4x4. Def way too much unless its got a supercharger or something in it. I paid 23.5 for mine. 08 v6 4x4 with 15k miles on it.

Also I looked it up real quick. It came from the factory with bilstein 5100's so there is your lift. Adjustable Shock

They did have IS editions before 08, but it did not have all the goodies like the 08 model. Here is an article from May 2007 on TTORA Forum.
