Has anyone received the Harsh Ride TSB in Canada (on a US import)?

I guess Toyota Canada manufactures them with the 4 leaf pack stock. So when they denied my TSB I can kind of understand where they're coming from. However, I was told that I would have to get the TSB done in the US since this is a TSB for US Tacomas only.

How can this be? Is the transferable warranty only semi-transferable?

Looks like TSB 3055

 

I hav a friend who imported 2010 DC last december and had to go across the border this FEB(2011) to get the TSB done. He spoke to toyota CS and that was the only option given.

 

Elwood has a Canadian Tacoma. He had his old leaf pack replaced with a new one. This "TSB 3055" is something to do with the spring rating between the two.

I have a US Tacoma that needs the US TSB. But it needs to be done by Toyota Canada whom do not recognize that TSB.

 

I understand that , but if there is a TSB number to end up with a 4 leaf pack , perhaps they would do it .

I don't know , it was just a thought .

 

Thanks I'll give it a try. But I would assume the dealership here would have know about the Canadian TSB and submitted that if the US TSB was no good.

 

I had to point my dealership in the direction of the TSB I had done ( transmission shifting ) , they don't always know about them .
