I am looking to get patch panels for the right rear corner of the cab, a roof skin as long as it goes all the way to the back glass. also if i could find the sections that the front top of the passenger door seals.








I got a rough estimate of rhino lining the whole truck at around 2 to 2.5 grand. not bad for the whole truck plus it will help cover some of the smaller gashes and lifetime warranty if i drag body later on in life

 

just a heads up, I rolled my truck on the highway and totalled it, I was able to recover a bunch of after market parts including suspension.

The suspension LOOKED ok, but under load, it did this:

That's the top plate that the stud was rubbing against.

 

note taken! I am doing a thorough check of all the suspension and drivetrain, alo going to take it in for an alignment just to make sure no spindles or arms are bent

 

Not with some UCA's and wheel spacers

 

I have glassworks and they look good but I do like the agressive look of the fiberwerx front fenders

We checked my suspension pretty thoroughly, I had my truck aligned, at no point did anyone suspect any problems with the suspension. It wasn't until I tried to track down a bad and persistent squeek that we disassembled the coilovers to discover the impending catastrophic failure

tempting, But just a wee bit late for that, the fiberglass bedsides should be here soon and I am looking at new tail lights for it. def going "led" but which ones on ebay do i go for?

 

Get a tube front bumper, it will make it look better with the fenders and no lt

 

the roof skin should go from the rear glass pinchweld to the windshield pinchweld... and looking at the damage you have between the a pillar and the cab corner/c pillar... you may want to look into getting a 'uni-side'.. this would be a one peice 'frame'.. basically take your doors off and what you see is the uniside, 3 pillars, windshield pillar, roof rail(which would meet your roof skin) and cab corner and everything in between...
if you could find one in a junkyard it would be nice..

Unfortunately, finding an '05+ taco in a junkyard is next to impossible, i got laughed at by a few of the salvage yard folks just for asking about that truck.

 

Yeah i could imagine, i havnt even seen 1st gens in the yards that often...

 

car-parts.com you can search for parts in salvage yards near you it might help.
