Do I Need A Lift...I Want 285/65/18 Nitto Terra Grappler

I have 275/55 20. 31.9" tire. I rub at full lock. I have Dynapro ATm's. If I had a street tire, maybe not. So you might want to take the a/t tread into consideration.

I have a 06 tacoma trd 4X4 double cab and it is stock. I really want to get 285/65/18 with Nitto Terra Grappler's and would love to do this without a lift and without any issues with rubbing anywhere. More than likely I am going to get bilstein 5100's all the way around and I would like to leave them set at 0. If i need to get coils I would get eibach, but thats only if I would need a small lift. I only offroad when hunting and that is just going through some feilds and driving down a bumpy dirt road at a slower speed, so not very much offroading at all. I mostly just drive on the road. I dont want to rub anything when going over bumps on driveways or on the road. Do the bigger tires make a difference on the accuracy of the speedometer and the mpg.? Also will the ride quality be different? Some people say that bigger tires and wheels have made their truck wander on the road at high speeds, will it make the truck do this? The reason I am asking this is because some people say this set up will work with no lift and some say it wont. I want no lift or just a small lift to make this work. Any idea of what the bs on the wheels would have to be? Sorry for all the question's...any help is greatly appreciated.

yes. i had em, they rubbed. got a 3 inch lift, still rubbed. cut alot and you can fit em. im runnin 275/70/18 now, and only when i fully compress em do they rub. i deal with it

Can I fit the 275/70/18 with 5100's set at max on 06 DC 4WD?
