Sharp looking truck! There used to be complaints because Nissan was putting a small rear end in the Titan, did they ever fix that?

Wow that sure is a pretty truck! Love the interior! I think the thing that bothered me the most is that plastic yeehaw on the tailgate. To me it throws off the flow of the truck.

That's a sweet truck and there is a lot of good deals to be had on them. I traded my 08 frontier on my Tacoma but I probably would have bought another Nissan if they made a 4 cylinder 4x4. Toyota is the only Japanese company building one now and thats a shame. In the 80's and early 90's Toyota, Nissan, Mazda, and Isuzu were all in the 4 cylinder 4x4 game. It's a shame. Good luck with the Titan.

better than the tundra? not even close - the trundra by far and away.

however, for a bit smaller truck the titan is nice, much better than the frontier.

Yikes - that's horrible. I actually started thinking about a Titan since the 2012 Tacoma appears to have the engine changed delayed, but after reading that and talking to my mechanic, I'm passing on the Titan. Too bad, because a good friend of mine owns a Nissan dealership....

Keep in mind I payed about $31k though, not $42K. To be honest I would have loved to get that much off on a Tundra Crew Max (although I think Titan looks a little better, especially Pro-4x trim). But a comparable Tundra with leather TRD etc.. would have cost a lot more after haggling than 31k$. From looking around at used prices I saw tundra crew max's like the one I just described for 32-35 asking price for a used 2008 model.

Agree to disagree. The Tundra is a very nice truck w/ a better drivetrain, but I'm not sold on the interior/exterior.

I heard Nissan had a lot of trouble with the e-locker rear diff.'s. I'm wondering the same thing?

I think the Tundra's have a nice interior, but you gotta jump up to a limited model to get all the goodies. Those trucks are expensive. Way more than 31k.

Congrats. I never let a deal go longer than an hour. The longer you're there the better chance you'll get screwed somehow.

Nice truck by the way. I like black cars for about three months out of the year around here. It's the other nine months of owning a black car that I loathe.

It's a good thing it did take that long.. if I agreed to the initial deal I would have payed 35+... The funny thing is I really didn't want to buy a new truck on Saturday, I really was just killing some time and kicking some tires. That is the main reason I kept trying to leave. Everytime I tried to leave they kept lowering the price. I really was just trying to see what kind of deal I get down the road etc when I was 100% ready to buy. By them lowering the price repeatedly, they made me 100% ready.
