I have relative that works for a large dealership & sells Toyotas as well as other brand of vehicles. They say i can get a new 09 Tacoma at their price. I'm looking at the dbl cab reg bed sr5 #2 pkg w/the upgrade wheels. Can anyone tell me what dealer cost would be on this?

4x2 short bed. They work at the Nissan Dealer. I'm not in the states, i'm overseas & will return to the states late in 08. At that time i will be able to get better price info.l had heard dealer pricing is about 5% off invoice. Just getting an idea wha the price would be so i can see if their price is better than thru cars.com or my ins. co. Being a popular model sometimes dealers don't like to sell that low to non-employees. I'm doing my homework till i return to the states.

www.kbb.com Kelly Blue Book also has new car prices with dealer cost vs. sticker price. They have an excellent list of options, including regional data that provides that gets it down to the dollar in most cases. Like the other posters www.edmunds.com is also a great resource.

I have done really well with this site. I bought a 2003 Tacoma(no money down) with Carsdirect & traded it for my 2005 Tacoma. When I traded it (a year & a half later) they gave me $2500 more than I owed.

Use the get a "free dealer quote" it hooks you up with a few dealers in your area. I checked carsdirect with what you wanted & got a price of $23,073, Retail was $25,395. There is a $1,000 rebate on this truck until 10/31/08 in my area.

    Toyota is offering 0% financing.

Wow! This would really tempt me in buying a new truck.
