Just 1 more thing. They are dif. trucks not a downgrade. If you put a new 99 TRD and new 08 (both of mine were loaded) but my 99 had a sun roof that did not leak but my 08 hard top did, ha ha on that one. both v6 3.? & 4.0. 5 manuel vs 6. 99 had 222,000 factory clutch, 08 33k blow. I could go on. Both new 0-5 miles give me the 99. Smaller more jeep like just bullet proof. I still say keep yours pay it off than build it. We cant go back:rolleyes:

Thanks for all the advise guys! I'm gonna further explore these options, visit dealers, take a look at 1st generations, and just research it!

yeah that's what everyone seems to say lol

that was actually my initial decision before going with a 2nd generation but i think all the talk with my pops and just the need for a car pushed it for a new one. But yup, really considering it, like 75%

alot of metal, small engine, decent travel.
caged, camburg long travel, 50t leafpack (soon to be installed) light rack over cab, 5pt harnesses etc

dont trade it in to a dealer, they will rip you in the ass on the price. put it up on craigslist, sell it private and buy a first gen.

and just curious, you paid 28.5 out the door for this truck correct? if im reading right.

...on the lease i started with 4k down, and since i financed it it was at $19,900

since I still owe on the truck, how would I go about that? woudl i possibly put it on the market to sell at the remaining price and more so I'm not just stuck with nothing, or ? This is still my new truck, and never had to sell, other than a nissan i had that just killed over, on everything
