Hey guys, I bought this skid off a local guy off craigslist. It was advertised as 05 and up and according to the guy it came off his '06. I painted it flat black and when I went to install it on my 2011 sport, there weren't any mounting points for it. It's either not 05 and up, or there's some type of issue with the 2011 or perhaps the sport package.

Either way I can't use it and I want to sell it, but I need to verify what years and models it's good for before posting on here. I don't want anyone to end up with a useless part the same way I did. Once I verify what it works for, I'm gonna post it up for sale. But I'm open for im's if you like what you see.

    That's not a TRD skid (1st or 2nd Gen)

Looks like something off a bullbar (Westin, Smittybuilt, etc)

Yeah, i've seen this model on a few tacos around, so I know they make something for the 05+, I just figured this might not have been right since it wouldn't mount up. My guess is the guy pulled it off and left the brackets on the truck. FAIL

Anyone have any idea where I can get the brackets? Or should it go in the recycle bin?

It is a factory skidplate for the latest generation taco, but it is silver stainless steel. I have seen it on a Taco here, does anyone know who put it on and if so any pics? i am thinking of buying one also, as I like the look over the more popular TRD one.
