Question What the hell is this sound?!: * short clip*

Hey guys, please help me diagnose what this sound is! It's off of my 2005 and started about 3 weeks ago off and on but has gotten worse. It makes this sound every time I let off the gas but goes away when I accelerate or push in the clutch pedal..any ideas? Also, the sound is much stronger under the truck compared to when you have the hood open. Hope it is something easy. Any help will be greatly appreciated..thanks.

EDIT: Issue is the Throwout Bearing

1). How much total to replace (labor) ?
2.) Anyone else beside URD make this part?

The sound itself sounds more like clutch release bearing noise. That is usually apparent in neutral with the clutch out, and when it is mild it usually goes away if you put light pressure on the clutch pedal. At least, that's what I've experienced on previous vehicles.

Doesn't sound at all like piston slap to me. I've heard that too.

This describes it exactly ^Goes away as soon as I press the clutch in a tad

Alright:
1.)How much? I see URD has the part for $225
2.)Where to order? Anywhere else?
3.) How much for a mechanic to replace this?
4.) How long can I drive with this?

If you are out of warranty, I wouldn't even go to the dealer as you will get ripped off, go to a good mechanic in your area.

Not sure really how far you could drive, probably a good while, but the sound might drive you nuts.

Yea, it is just the TO bearing worn down... get that URD part mentioned above and have someone install it.

Lemme know how it works out for ya!

I am curious if adding the part once the noise starts will fix it, or if you have to add it before the noise.

On URD's website, it basically says you can add it after. They give you a list of possible problems/issues/noises that your truck is making and basically say this is a replacement part to fix those issues

Well just got a price quote for $459 for the install of the bearing. The new bearing is 240 shipped from URD so looking at about $700 total. Fml
