I read the auction listing and lol'd.

 

Just fixed the compass/thermometer. Took all of ten minutes.

A friend said he can sand and re-paint the damaged areas for $250. So I think I'm going to be looking much better. Also just saw I can get leather seats for around $600. So I'm going to do that too.

 

Nice truck and looks like a great deal. Oh, FYI, you shouldn't worry about salt damage with the truck coming from Oregon, we don't salt our roads. Cinders only.

Got a 67 mustang which was in western oregon all it's life and no rust issues here. Even took the carpet out to replace and still had the factory markings on the floor boards. I've never seen salt used here..maybe gravel here and there...but then again it doesnt snow that much here...here as in Portland.

 

Nice job man. Did you get the leather? I live in NOLA too. I am so happy I have heavy duty suspension. Installing my Katzkin soon. It just arrived today.
