Can I add a 2" body lift to my 3" suspension lift and not have problems with the VSC

I have a 2010 Tacoma with a 3" suspension lift. I know there are problems with the VSC with a 6" suspension lift. Since the VSC censor is mounted to the engine and a body lift doesn't lift the engine... would a 2" body lift cause problems with the VSC?

    Thanks

Bigger isn't better. Anything over 3" is over kill, but it's your truck so do what you want.

Also, your VSC will still be screwed up. I know this because Christian just said it. :woot:

It's fine so far, but I want to go bigger than 3" lift and I'm told that the VSC will engage

There is nothing wrong with a bodylift depending on how you use your truck. Likewise depending on how you use your truck a bodylift can be a bad idea. Like others have said you can re-calibrate the vsc but you may also get lucky and find you have no problems. Either way its not a big deal.

He's talking about stacking a body lift on a suspension lift .

The VSC is activated because the truck is more top heavy in turns etc , triggering the yaw sensor into thinking the truck is getting into a rollover or fishtailing condition .
