I recant my previous statement about the flutter shim location. Put it between second and third shim, not the first and second.

And I recant my statement as well. As I have looked at my shocks closer and they are stamped:

Welp. Looking like I am either getting laid off from work tomorrow, or offered to transfer to casper wy. Kinda thinking, I will just take the layoff, and try to transform skinkwerks, from a hobby job, to my real job. Time to tie up a bunch of loose ends and get stuff Rollin. Its still hard to put 6 yrs into something and have it all taken away overnight.

I guess if I get a hardware shop going. I am going to have to be at more meets to demo and perfect my armor.

I'm not the engineer you are looking for... but I can advertise! I have beat the shit out of your armor without issue!

Hopefully it will work out for you! As Bob said, let me know if I can help in some way!

How come you dont start up your own fab shop doing headache racks and bed boxes for all the oil field trucks running around there? I worked in Bakersfield CA for a large oil company and we spent thousands on building armor for our work trucks?

ugy8u6a2_97833d7a29841bb82ba8b066827820a9d5195283.jpgThats a good idea, there are quite a few shops around that do that. But there is a huge market for that stuff around here. I am kind of leaning towards the more production line kind of stuff.

Finally got a little bit done on the squishy end of the truck, made some new upper a-arms up front, and added 12" fox shocks and hydraulic bumps to the rear.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
Hmmmm.... if I can't have a bumper I might go with that. They quit making the other type I liked.
