New owner & a couple of questions
Just bought an 09 Double cab 4x2 PreRunner. Not new to the Toyota family - I had a 4Runner for 8 years, drove an SC430 for 3 and missed having a truck. 2 questions - looks like I have a rear view camera but not the mirror monitor. Anyone encountered this or have suggestions for a monitor and wiring info? Also the dealer ad said my truck has a limited slip diff. Any suggestion on how to verify? The 4x2 should pretty much get me where I want to go if at least it has the locking differential.

I'm not sure if you can just plug in the mirror and it works.
All 09 and up Tacomas have open diffs with ALSD. ALSD will slow down the wheel with no traction so power is sent to the tire with traction. Check out the manual for info or this link: http://www.majormedia2.com/4WDSimplifiedv5/4WD.html
