I wanted to post this information mostly for search purposes b/c the only other weight posted (that I found) on the site did not come even close to what I had. So dont mind the extra wording here. I'm trying to cover everything someone would use to search for the info.
So the stock tacoma 4x4 oem off road OR wheel rim weighs 22.2-22.4 pounds. It fluctuated between these two numbers on my scale. Pic for proof

Good Info! Thanks, because I lost about 2 mpg when I changed tires from the stock BFG rugged trail to the BFG AT because of the additional weight (200lbs). So when I upgrade rims I can compare the differences.

Whiskey; The MT classic IIs were fluctuating between 19.4 and 19.6 w/o center caps (which were probably only a few more ounces).

THanks man. No fitment issues at all. They're perfect. The only thing was an issue was w/ the wheel weights when applied to the inner section of the barrel for balancing. They were hitting the caliper, so the shop had to use the hammer on weights on the inside to avoid that. Stick on weights on the outside portion were fine though.
And the only thing I can think of w/ the published weight vs what I weighed them, is the rim size they used for advertising. If they used a different width/specs than what I have, that may have made up the difference.

I was looking for this info as well. Thanks. I read on a different post that they were 25lbs. They must of rounded up. I'm definitely looking for something lighter than my OEM rims.

This is an old thread, but correct. There is a good thread in the wheel forum that has reliable weights. Just as a general comment, getting weight numbers on anything online is extremely sketchy. People post when they don't know (gotta love that). People google it and then post the shipping weight which includes all the packaging, and then that number is rounded up. 90% of online posted weights are bullshit.

This particular wheel does weigh 22.2 pounds. It is one of the best wheels you can run when considering strength/weight. The weights of Toyota wheels have been creeping up for years until they finally reached 26.2 lbs! Toyota's newest 2020 TRD Pro wheel (7.0 x 16) resets the scale at 21.4 lbs. Toyota blows their horn that they have reduced the wheel weight by 4.8 pounds!!! Wahoo!!! Truth is, they have reduced the weight 0.8 pounds from a design they created 15 years ago! You've always got to have your bullshit sifter fully engaged!!

Bottom line is that the old tried and true Toyota wheel shown in this thread is a huge bargain. You can easily pick them up for $200 a set or less. I think I have 9 or 10 of them, and I'm not selling them. They are light and are very well designed for strength. I think the new Pro wheels are good too, they just come with a new wheel premium for price. They have just become available in the last couple of weeks.

    Now you are informed......

Edir: The P/N for the new 16" 2020 TRD Pro wheel is PT946-35200-02. It may not be in every dealers system yet, but that is the number.
