WHATS WRONG WITH BLOWER MO

ANYBODY WITH 2ND GEN TACOMA HAVE PROBLEM HITH A/C HEATER BLOWER WORKS ON HIGH MOST OF THE TIME BUT MED LOW DOES NOT WORK MOST OF THE TIME .

 

There is a TSB for a ticking blower moter. And there is a self fix for it also. You can get that part at auto zone for around 100.

attached is the TSB.

But if it is just plain not working I would just get a new one at Auto Zone. Or take it apart and clean it and see if that gets it going.

 

I have been having the same problem...I have a 2nd gen 2010 with 30,000 miles on my truck and the fan blower is making a funny clicking sound almost like a leaf is stuck in the blower when the fan spped is in LOW or the next tick mark higher on a/c or heat...Took the truck to the "Stealership" since it's still under warranty they say the blower motor was going bad and that this has been a common problem on Tacoma's. they said it'd be about $300 out the door to fix it...good thing mine is still under warranty. kinda sucks, but Living in Florida i never uses the a/c in the summer time and have been noticing it with the heat on.
