prerunner + snow season

i see prerunners here in our area that has snow and lots of it. with rwd and a light rear end, how do they handle in snowfall?

Should be alright with sand bags and maybe snow tires. 4wd is much better for snow areas though.

my back end goes crazy. especially in these hills of Tennessee. hill climbing out of the drive way is stuff on ice.

My '09 with all of the TRAC/VSC equipment has handled snow and ice very well. I've put one or two sand bags over the rear axle just for peace of mind, but have not had any serious issues and have not been stuck (even with half-worn down original Dunlops).

I had 4 60lbs sand bags in my bed last winter. Also was still on stock duelers tires and I did fine. Just take it slow and easy. This winter I'm going to invest in some snow/ice tires maybe some blizzaks.
