Something doesn't seem right here. The only reason I would not have called the police if I was the OP is if I had been drinking. In Texas, there is no legal limit for underage drinking...if you blow a .0001 you get a DWI.

As others have said, since you left the scene I'd be concerned that the other driver would tell the police you hit him and fled.

Damage doesn't seem to match up with the story.

I hate to agree here but it deffinately sounds like you had something to hide. Who the hell gets hit by someone late at night and doesn't report it after they take off, not a very intelligent move.

Drinking himself? As a minor, most states are 'zero tolerance' which means that you don't have to blow .08 to get a dui, any trace when you are underage means you get your license suspended.

The only thing i can think of is there was a four way stop and the other person ran it, and grazed the front of his truck... Hence the paint transfer and the bent plate. He just stopped in time avoiding the T-bone.. if that's the case tho, why wouldnt he call immediately?

My thought is that doesn't look like a 30mph collision. If a car bumped him at 5 mph it would have done that kind of damage. Looks like he swiped a car in the middle of the night or a tree...

Why pull over in a car wash to take pics and not report it.

Edit: he was washing off the blood from the front bumper.

he's hiding something. if I were to be involved in any accident and not call my parents most ricky-tick, I would be better off going to Mexico and starting over.
