    fun stuff coming soon! New battery, radiator and CV joints and axles. Added some Rancho RS5000 shocks.
    unless i was drunk or had weed in the car is the only reason for me not to call, other than that, i would have ben on the phone with the cops, fixing my bumper and chasing their asses down! how are you going to get in trouble for something thats not your fault, thats why its called an accident...you didnt mean for it to happen but it did...

    unless thats not the story of what actually happened?...

    I've managed to add some bug guts to the front
    That's exactly why you carry a rifle in your truck. You would've been able to shoot his tires out and catch up with him.

    if the OP is a young kid, and idk about texas but in jersey, if u have a provisional license, u arent allowed to be driving past midnight and before 5 or 6 am..could be a reason why he didnt call the cops. but 60 mph would have done just a little more damage than that lol

    I have this feeling that 60 was an over estimate, but what he was trying to say is that he was going 60 and TRIED to stop, but couldnt in time, and ended up in the intersection while slowing down. So, sure he was going a lot slower than 60 but still over shot the stop sign.

    Funny ...

    :confused::confused::confused:
    If he got hit on the right and mangled the plastic bumper, why is the bottom light still in one piece and working? If it was a graze from the RH side, the top edge of the bumper has a significant crease and split with missing paint but the grill frame an inch to the right is undamaged. So it looks more like a low frontal impact than a grazing side impact.

    And the fender/hood gap is opened up so it could have been either from the bottom being rolled in (low rh hit) or it could have been pushed back (front hit). I looked at my truck and there's a metal frame piece underneath that top left edge of the bumper so I'd expect the plastic to be deformed and then held out of place on the top edge ...

    And there's no paint visible from the other vehicle (usually is) unless it was white too. There are scratches that look like they move from left to right so it could be legit but I want a picture from the side!

    Having your truck messed up for any reason still sucks though, self-inflicted or not.

    I'm not saying that's what happened.. I have no idea. I'm just trying to think of what could have happened using the "story" he gave us. He said blue equinox, it looked like there was a darker color scratch on the lower plastic. The fog light could easily still work or he put it back in. I agree.. more pictures and more info. This whole thing is fishy. Lol

    keep in mind that if he is under 18 he could have gotten in trouble for being out after 12.

    you would think they might let that slide if it led to a drunk driver getting caught, he might have gotten like a warning or a small fine. Depends what his story is for being out that late.

    if the other driver was really going that fast - "like 60mph", coming up to a 4-way stop, it seems exceedingly unlikely that driver would have just dinged his car. Think how long it takes to slow down to the speed (probably 5mph) that damage implies, if he were going highway speed. The truck would be totaled.

    I wonder if he wasn't trying his cover story out on us...

    the way the plastic is bend outward, not inward, on the left side implies a frontal impact....
