So I went to Firestone yesterday to get my alignment done after putting my Built Right uni-ball control arms on and this is what the guy had to show me. The bolt is seized inside the lower control arm and one of the tabs on the arm that allow for proper alignment was bent. I let there and went to the dealer to see what they would say. The service writer said I would most likely have to replace the lower control arm in order to get the bolt out. What do you guys thinks, anyone had this issue yet? Anyone looking to sell a passenger side lower control arm?

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Dam man that sucks just buy a and cut the nut off and tap the bolt out. Buy the TC alignment gussets & a new bolt and weld them on you don't need to replace the LCA that's the dealer trying to get more money from you. If you do all of this yourself you could fix it for under 100 bucks 250 if you don't have a welder and call a mobile welder to come burn it in for you.

Does anyone have a write up on this? I am looking into the TC alignment gussets right now.

I don't think so but I just welded some on for a member a few weeks ago and there easy to install. Take off on the other hand not so much. TC has instructions with the gussets but you need a welder because they come in a bunch of pieces.

Cover it in panther piss and give it hell, It'll budge, mine was sized too, I just turned into the hulk and moved it out the way. As far as the tab... heat it up and bend it back into place?

Cause the only way to get it of is to put enough force on it till it snaps. then your stuck with a broken bold seized in the LCA

You could get that out with a blowtorch punch and hammer no problem.
