What is the best way to beef up the rear for hauling heavy loads on the hitch (350lbs est). I want to still keep my hwy ride w/out the load and I don't want to impede my off-roading.
I was thinking airbags but thought they would limit travel off-road and heavy duty spring would cause a crappy ride on the road w/out the load (or would they)?

I want to haul my XR650R on a Ultimate MX Hauler http://ultimatemxhauler.com/ the bike with gas is about 300 and the hualer it's self is anouther 30-35 lbs.

    Thanks in advance.

I think the easiest and possibly cheapest way is to just get some better spring packs. I have the OME Dakars and they work very well under load without making for a harsh ride when nothing is in the back. I know some other people run the All Pro Expedition packs, but I don't know how they ride when they are not loaded. Maybe someone else will comment about the ride quality. Its hard to say because the way you are going to haul your bike, the load is way back behind the rear axl...
