I hit a good sized tree branch in the road doing about 30mph, braking down so I could make the turn onto a small access rd next to a major highway. The truck seemed ok but almost immediately I heard the seatbelt chime but there wasn't a warning light on the dash. I came to a stop, checked everything out and kept going down the road and then the chime came on again, still with no light. All the tires look ok and I dont see anything broken.

It did it one more time on the way home as i was accellerating from a light but thats it, I've tried to duplicate it a couple times and cant get it to. Crawled under my truck today and everything looks in place.

you off-roaders are running over stuff all the time so what is this warning chime? my 5-lug was not happy about it.

Yeah, I had some stuff in the seat - but doesn't the seatbelt light come on the dash if thats the case? Like I said, there were no dash lights at all, just the chime.

It came in a couple times after I pulled away from dead stops.

I just took it around again. The load in the front seat caused a chime with no dash light. Looks like its doing what its supposed to do.

    I'm just paranoid. :\

    Everything's fine.
