I have a weird issue with my 6spd manual. Recently it seems to shift funny into 1st gear. No grinding. While shifting normally into gear you would feel it transition through a hard point mid way through the stroke, maybe when the gears are meshing. Now I don't feels this and I have to push fairly hard at the end of the stroke for it to stay in gear, if I don't it while grind as if it's not all the way in gear. Anyone had this issue, or heard of it?

Is this only in first gear? if its all gears it would most likely be your clutch.

I occasionally have trouble shifting mine into first after sitting in neutral. A second pump of the clutch and it shifts fine. Not sure why.

I never experienced such problems on mine.

I sometimes have a hard time getting it into first. try going down to second, then up to first. Usually does the trick for me.

Thats what mine felt like at about 33K then the clutch went. No inspection cover to look inside. I went the next day.
