08 Tundra seats fit in my 08 Taco???

was curious if anybody would know offhand or from experience if the seats from an 08 tundra would fit in my 08 standard cab taco. i know the newer tundras are bigger...but ive seen seats from an FJ fit in a standard cab, so just figured id ask.

anhting is possible with enough work, i recently welded up some brackets to put 98 honda civic seats in an old ass ranger for a friend of mine. pita though to build new brackets that were solid enough to be safe. if you do it make sure you use grad 8 or better for hardware and mount the belts directly to the truck not the seat that way if the seat does happen to some loose in a wreck you dont become a passenger on it.

So are the Hennessey Venom seats.

 

And they add 20 hp. If you can get the Bugatti Veyron exhaust tip, +50 hp and it'll sound like an open header V8

 

yeah, been looking at another set of aftermarket seats and theyre too narrow, so i would have to extend the reach of the bracket with some type of hardware. but, thanks for the info, now i know for sure grade 8! haha. but yeah, seatbelts are mounted directly to my cab.

yeah, i figured that, but was hoping they might fit cuz the center console in the tundra is alot wider. is it not? but i had a bench in my truck so i wouldnt need to worry about a console anyway. thanks tho!
