Decided I am getting a Taco for my next rig, and can't figure out if i should wait til the 12's come out or just work a better deal with a new '11 or slightly used '10. My biggest concern is that the latest will come out with the VVT-i motor which is a mystery why it's not already an option...

    thanks for the input

The consensus is that '12 just means an uglier grille.

Not an expert on what VVT-i is, but my 2011 says VVT-i on the engine cover, so I must have gotten scammed! :)

the 2012 is just an aesthetic facial redesign (From what different reps on the site have said) so no change in the engine... So it depends on what body style you like when choosing between the two

(Do you mean dual vvt-i? Cause the current 4.0s have VVT-I )
