These don't suck in mud, I have these on my 85' Crawler and they are awesome in mud.

They are 305/65/17 and so far they ride great!

i had a set, they were wore out in about 40,000 miles and i rotated and balanced them every time i changed the oil. and i got stuck more with those tires than i did with a set of buckshots.

Were they the TTC? I wont complain at all about 40,000 miles from these, IMO thats not too bad. These do require some wheel speed to clear them out, but they are awesome on light trucks, or heavy trucks with lots of HP!

yea, exact same tire. i think it was a 285 somethin 18 though. i cant remember the exact size they just took too much spinning to clean out i guess. i have a automatic so i cant dump the clutch lol.

Yeah I guess that could be a problem, you may of had problems getting stuck because they are directional? I know these tires are probably the best for rocks, I have climbed stuff with these that my swampers couldn't touch. As for the mud, i felt they were as good as the swampers I had.

ive got a set of bias tsl's for mud now. lol nothin touches bias tires. and they are bulletproof. but it may have been because they were directional and any rocks i did find,(very few down here worth climbing on) they done pretty good. just watch the sidewalls.

40k miles on aggressive off-road tires is amazingly good. I constantly drive some fairly extreme terrain very aggressively and I am thrilled to get 20k miles out of a set of any brand M/T.
