Stops Jihad on Contact.
I'm about to change the thermostat in my 1Gr-FR truck. First time I'm doing something like this so I want to make sure of all the steps before doing the work; how much coolant do I need to drain out of the radiator so I don't make a big mess when I take off the thermostat? Do I need to drain the coolant from the engine as well or will the radiator be enough?

I would go ahead and just flush the whole cooling system out while you have the T stat out.
