so i was just playing with diff lock on my ’07 DC SB TRD 4x4 off road. and from what i can tell. my diff lock works in 2wd 4wd and 4low. and i thought the JUST worked in 4low? so i took a video with my phone. and FYI i have done NO MODS to make it do this. i thinks it’s the yellow wire mod? not sure because i have not looked in to doing to much.

    ok hears video. http://youtu.be/NHvp4Vyf_NE

so is it working in 2wd 4HI and 4low??

    A few bolts are different.
If its flashing its not engaged. Anything 4wd is not fully engaged until the light is solid

Flashing just means the button was pushed. Not engaged.

No. Blinking and the beeper means it's not engaged

In L4, there is no flashing or beeping when you are engaged... and as everyone above said... flashing diff. lock light mean it is NOT engaged.

The locker anytime mod requires a relay, and not just cutting a grey wire like the 1st. gen tacos.
