painted exhaust tip

anyone know what kind of high temp flat black spray paint i can use to paint my muff tip?

 

how about high temp panit for a BBQ grill?

 

I just hit mine with good old Krylon flat black, what was left in the can after doing the visible areas of my frame rails. I don't think it gets hot enough to need special paint (so far so good for me anyways).

 

Duplicolor makes high heat engine paint...Comes in a few different colors...including flat black if I remember right. You could prolly get away with normal paint too.

BBQ paint could work...but it very susceptable to chips and nicks...I used it on my motorcycle....but the pipe is under the bike so it's protected...and it STILL needs regular retouching.
