I was looking into getting some getting some seat covers for my 4 DR TRD Off Road, (Mostly planning on Wet Okole) then while doing a search on eBay for "Tacoma" I stumbled across these:

    http://stores.ebay.com/vipseatcovers

    Current eBay auction:
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130454889704&viewitem=

I asked the question if the price was for just the fronts or both front and rear.. Here's the response:

    "Hello,

$449 is for the complete set, front and rear row seat covers.

What year is your Double cab?
Are your front seats sport like in the TRD edition or regular seats?

Please let me know so I can check whats in stock and layout your options.

    Thank you,
    Charles
    vipseatcovers.com"

In all, they look like a good possibility considering the things I have read on the various forums about the Wet Okoles.. (You know, the fading, and issues with smell and general wear.)

I haven't decided which direction I will ultimately take, but for the price and the look of theses seat covers, and considering that they are ~ 100 less than the Okoles, it may be the way to go!

    Thoughts?

I added those to my watch list on eBay... Feedback looks good - waiting to hear back from a member that bought a set in March. I'll post the reply...

I've got a new 2011 DC, and their site says "not compatible".
Are the 11 seats any different than the 10s?

No there the same but the 09 plus years have airbags so you have to find the right seat covers. Wet Okole are great covers and worth the $$

Ive also had that item on my watch list for a couple months. Been waiting for someone to be the guinea pig and let everyone else know the quality.

You might want to consider these. Made by Cover King! They were on sale at Costco - about half the price of Wet Okole's. The fit and finish is very good. I'm happy with them. They have opening for the air bags. I had to unbolt the seats (easy) to get the seat bottom pulled up tight. Also got them installed in the back so I dont have to worry about my 5yo twins destroying it. :)

What I'd really like......Katzkin's www.katzkin.com but at almost 2 grand, that shoots a big hole in the budget for wheels, tires, grill.....oh the slippery slope!

    Dear rocket469,
Hello, I lovethem. They were definitely worthgetting. They fit very tight on seatsand nobody can even tell they are seat covers. They just take awhile to install. They are holding up well so far. Hope this helps.

    Hi rocket

I am so happy with them, they are 10 times nicer them Ithought they would be. I show them to friends and they can't believe they’reseat covers. They look like factory leather seats. It took me about two hoursto put them on because they fit like a glove, very tight. They are very softand padded they add so much comfort. I could go on but in a few words I wouldhighly recommend them to you.
    Enjoy
    Mike

^ I think I paid about $170/row. That was 3 mo ago. It was a promotion highlighted on the web flyers and ads.
