I'm sorry for the dumbness of the question guys, but I'm a freshly moved out college student and have no way of measuring myself (ruler, tape measure, etc.)...could somebody give me the dimensions of my rear sliding glass? Thanks guys. I'm new here and plan to visit often.

The glass itself, or the opening, or the frame around the opening?

Lol, no my keys didn't get locked in. I'm trying to get a sticker custom made to fit the sliding glass part of the window, so I need to know the actual dimensions of it, like when it's closed from the outside.

Just so you know, stickers that get applied on the outside of the sliding glass make it more difficult to open the slider. The sticker catches the rubber gasket when you slide the window open and tries to pull the gasket out. I put a college sticker on mine have haven't opened it since...

wouldn't a sticker on the rear window block your view in the rear view mirror?

You don't need to see out your rear window if you can properly use your side mirrors. I grew up driving rack trucks and got used to not having a rear window.

The sticker may wear out prematurely due to the window seal rubbing against it.

I'm not worried about it catching, or anything like that, because I never open that window really anyways. And on my last truck, an F-150, I had a sticker on the middle glass right in the line of sight of my rear view mirror, but I never really had problems. Most of the time I rely on my side mirrors anyway. My rear view mirror doesn't get used too often. Not to mention, backing up, I have the rear view camera in the mirror to help me out :)

You can see over it if you put it @ the bottom of the window.2011-09-08105215_2e970e53d2453c5e5b8c2c2f3a5928555c53d171.jpg
