    Alright guys I need some guidance. Im buying a Volant CAI with DT headers and DT Y pipe. What muffler should I go with or should I get a complete exhaust system?

    Get the URD Y pipe, always heard great things about it. 2.5" a wicked flow or magna flow, do you want dual or single outlets?

    I would stay away from the DT y pipe.

    If you are going to run DTLT with a URD Y pipe (no cats at all), it will be loud. Even with a large muffler.

    The people I have known that have had the DT Y pipe take it off after a short while. I also beleive what you think are cats are actually resonators.

    If you are happy with it, that is all that matters.

    I will say tht I have the URD cat back, and I am happy with it. It's an easy install.

    AIRAID sealed CAI w/Dry Filter, Flowmaster Cat Back SS Exhaust, Demello Pre-Runner Winch Bumper, BAK-FLIP Solid Tonneau Cover w/Ladder Racks and Bike Carrier.
    Just a thought, the DT Long Headers are not CARB Legal, so dependent on where you live (say CA), then you may run into issues. And if by some odd reason the rest of the U.S. adopts CARB, issues there too. The DT Short Headers use the OEM Cats from the original headers, just need to be welded on and are 50 State Legal. Also, the shorties are about $180.00 cheaper. Just food for thought, GL!
