Sound in Passenger door when power window goes up

Has anyone had a problem with their power window in the passenger door when the window is going up that it makes a slight growling sound that sounds like it is catching something on the way up?

 

I didn't have a growl but rather more of a pop. I took the inside of the door panel off and discovered a loose screw that was potruding into the moving parts of the window. Once tightened the problem was resolved. Just a thought for you.

 

Get a can of spray silicone w/ the little red tube. Spray the window seal track that the glass rides in normally where you can see it. Then take that red tube and stick it into the track at the bottom of the glass and let it run down into the door trying to lube the track as far down as you can.hopefully this reduces the strain on the motor regulator and the noise is reduced.

 

I am thinking about taking my door apart to look and see what is going on..... does anyone think there is a possiblity that the motor is going bad inside the door? I was thinking if it was... that the window would not go up at all....... maybe replacing the regulator? What does everyone else think?

 

Mines been doing this for the 30k miles that I have owned my truck. I can live with the noise, as it doesn't seem to have any actual affect on the functionality of the window
