Allpro 0-2.5" bilstein shock

I am trying to find some info on these rear shocks but nothing comes up on the extension and compression lengths. I am loading up my truck for camping and the shocks I have are just to long, they are from DSM and it is a Bilstein 5100 with 27" extension and 16" compression.

 

Yes those are the ones and I cannot find anything on them. Josh from Allpro said they 9.25 travel but no specifics on the extension -compression .

 

But on the same token, u dont want to be to short on the extension side. Maybe get some timbrens if u have that much weight. Ur ap expos are compressing that much?

It's not that the Allpro are compressing that much it is the Bilstein shocks are to long. I have a set of Bilstein from DSM but they are just to long with bump stops set the shock has 3" of compression with 1/2" left on the shaft. I did have the shorter Bilsteins and that is why I went to the longer DSM set because they were short on extension. The DSM shock have been on my truck for about a year and even then I thought they might be to long. I have since added things to my truck and the shock is just loosing travel and I need something in the middle.

 

Maybe look into 5125 or 5150 to have exactly the ext/comp lengths u need. This is a good thread since i will be getting ap expos in a few months.

The think eye to stem comes into play when going with some of the other shocks 5125/5150.

stock leaf pack? best thing to go is get aftermarket leaf pack, i have the OME dakar pack, and i've carried 1800lbs in the bed with a full 4inches left before hitting bump stops. I was more worried about my tire psi then my suspension. The stock leafs are just POS.

 

Im pretty sure hes got ap expos.
