Took a dive, bought a beautiful regular cab. Its been nothing but Jeeps prior to this. This site reminds me of jeepforum so i already love you guys. Anyway, I want a quiet ride for my regular cab... any advice... or pointers? THANKS!

Check out the audio section for recommendations on brands and styles of sound control foams and stuff to use. I don't think we have a Reg Cab write up...but there are some of the basic concepts outlined in there- You should be able to figure it out from there.

Welcome to TW, I have used i believe the name was Dynamat, and what you do is peel and stick these sheets of insulated matting on the inner panels to dampen sound, a lot of guys do that when they have a competition car stereo, that was years ago and not sure if its called that anymore. but i pretty much did the whole inside of my 1984 4runner back in the days....awesome shit

I used the Edead 45 on my 2001. Put it everywhere. Made a huge difference in how quiet and solid the truck felt (you know when closing the door just felt more solid). Took a lot of time to remove everything roll it on then replace it.

2009 4WD Reg cab Taco. Keepin it simple.
So far I've added an Advance folding bed cover and since removed it. Gave it to my son in Maine, he has an 05 2wd. GT perfect fit seat covers. Weathertech floor mats and window vent visors. Waag center brush/grill guard. Hose clamp tailgate mod. Turned off the seat belt chime. Added Ultra-Gauge. Trailer hitch. Softopper. Replaced sun visors with slide out style. Toyota bed extender. Had Firestone Destinations and now Michelin LTX AT2 in stock size. More mods to come; Fog lights, locking storage in bed, intermittent wipers. Now looking for Radio/HU upgrade. and maybe a lift way down the road.
Been driving trucks my whole life. My 09 Reg cab doesn't seem much different than my past trucks. Now it's bug the shit out me. Thanks.

    :D
