I'm trying to find a tonneau cover or a camper shell on Craigslist in my area. So that I might broaden my search, is there another truck that has the same size bed as the Tacoma DC Short Bed that I can search for? Does Leer, ARE, Undercover, etc make a model that fits our trucks as well?

No other truck bed has the exact same dimensions. If you want it to fit right, search for one specially for a Tacoma short-bed. All the major companies make shells and tonneaus specially for our trucks.

I'm wanting an exact fit, so I won't look for anything other than Taco DCSB. Thanks for info....

what kind of cover are you looking for?

I have a Pace Edwards aluminum roll-up tenneau cover that i'm about to list up for sale.

i'm in melbourne, so if you're ever down here, you can come look at it in person

Actually, one similar to yours was one of my first choices. However, I've seen a buddies truck with your tonneau and that box that holds the tonneau when retracted takes up quite a bit of room. My buddy has an F-150. I'm curious to see how much room it takes up in your Taco. Got pictures of it opened up?

only found one picture where it shows the inside of the bed, but it'll give you an idea of how far down it hangs.

the two things bolted to the canister lid are bike mounts if you were wondering. the bikes kind of give you a scale in this one

Looks sharp and I dig the convenience of rolling it up, but between losing a bit more of the bed and not being able to secure the tailgate, I'm gonna stick with something more similar to the Undercover or, ideally, a camper shell (Leer 100XQ would be choice #1.)

Thanks anyways. BTW, I saw you finally posted it up on CL...

haha, yeah, i figured i'd post it then since i was already looking for some pictures.

the loss of bedspace is what kills it for most people. i have a pop-n-lock on my tailgate, so when i locked that and the cover, it was completely secure.

good luck with search, when the accessory is this expensive, you might as well get what you really want.

i'll be posting an add for it on here too, and for the tacomaworld crowd i'm knocking off $100 from the $700 i have it at on craigslist. so if you change your mind, give me a holler.
