Compass Sensor Fix - What Next?

    Oh my! So I got the compass console out and found the 510 resistors. They are so tiny! How can I tell if they need re-soldering? Nothing appears burnt at all. My husband's co-worker volunteered to do the soldering (since he has the equipment and we don't) but I can't imagine getting solder in that tiny space. Any tips would be appreciated.

    Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
    You just resolder the ends. Cracks in small solder joints like that are almost impossible to see, yet can reek a lot of havoc.

    Most likely, it is the top one. Just add solder and plug it back in to test. Mine had completely fallen off.. That should fix it.

    My resistors really didnt look "burnt". They kinda just looked like the resistors had become unsoldered. The square ends of the resistor will be exposed. Fixing them was really easy, just use a small diameter solder. I used .015
