Best spark plugs for 4.0

    I just bought my first Taco (08 4.0 AC 2wd SR5 Off Road/Rough Country) and I believe it is time to do the plugs. It has 49k miles on it and runs great but I read here that plugs should probably be changed before it gets to 60k so my question is this. What are the BEST plugs to use in this truck? Thanks in advance.....Bob

    go with the factory plugs, i believe NGK or denso

    That's what I was thinking too. Forgot to mention that I am an FNG around here and this is my very first Japanese truck so I will be asking some pretty lame questions from time to time. Thanks again.....

    Welcome,, FNG alot of the cats with over 36,000 post are still newbe's you will fit right in. All I talked to on plug's said stock from stealership. Thats what I went with Do the search on plug change there are some good post on it... Jim

    Looks like I am on my way to Carson Toyota to grab a six pack of stockers then. Will update this weekend after the change out. Btw, I called two dealers to see what they would charge me to change my plugs. One quoted me $100.00 which I thought was high so I called another who quoted me $234.00!!! I think they are on dope or something.....
