Adding 4pin wire harness in addition to 7 pin...???

Folks...Could i add a parellel 4 pin wire to the 7 pin..it comes handy sometimes when you need to hook a small trailer with 4pin. I know there is a adapter that you connect to 7pin to convert to 4pin..but i hav the 4pin nd wires so thought would do the hard wiring. Thnks

 

Its just easier to buy the adapter($9) and be done with it, at least thats what I did.

No more lost adapters and the doors keep both sides clean and dry. There's an adapter harness for it too that's about $15 so it's not the cheapest solution out there but it does work good. I hinged my license plate and cut the plug-in in behind it. That's works great too and nothing hanging down waiting to get damaged when you're off road.

 

Smart and economical. You don't have to hack up your factory wiring harness!
