    and the maintenance light comes on...are you kidding me, do they program it to do that???

    Checked all fluids, engine sounds good...

    Thanks for the headsup...

    "If you continue driving without replacing the engine oil, and if the distance driven exceeds 8000 km (5000 miles), the light will come on after the ignition key is turned to the "ON" position. The light will remain on thereafter."

    It's exactly 5k...going in on the weekend for the oil change. I'll do other work myself, but the oil change is too messy. Plus the neighbors complain when I poor the old oil down the storm drain??? :)
