vibration at highway speeds but only in curves

Have a vibration that only shows up in curves. Can't quite tell where it's coming from. Could be front tires, almost seems like it's everywhere.

Only have a few thousand miles and I have rotated my tires, probably "too much", no associated noises with vibration, brakes don't pulse. Have not checked hub temps (all my tools are on a boat, I have 2 screwdrivers and a digital caliper). Straight, no disernable vibrations, quite pronounced in curves on the highway at 60 or so and better.

I've got a couple theories, but haven't found them to be true yet. It did just get shipped from hawaii to the east coast; so, anything could have happened in that voyage I guess.

Anyone else have an idea of what would cause highway vibration but only in curves?

Have you had your alignment or balance checked? My 08 does this when I turn the wheel slightly off center at speeds above 45 mph & really shakes while going straight at those speeds. I've been fighting this since new. I put new Michelins on 3 months ago, still same problem. Last week Toyota engineer & service manager had my truck all day. They road force balanced 3 times, still shakes. Then they put factory tires w/same rims as mine on from a brand new 2011 & truck was smooth as glass. They say it's either my tires, rims or both causing the vibration.

I think I may do 1 or both of 2 things. I have a tiny spacer on there just for looks.

I think I'll cross rotate the tires (as opposed to front to back only?) or maybe rotate the spare around the truck and see if I get any difference.

If not, then I'll move to take off the spacers and see. Without my tools, it will take a LOT longer than usual to do this. So I've been putting it off. I haven't taken a tire off with a tire iron in years.

The crappy thing about my shaking is I put my spare on my left front & the vibration & shaking is almost gone. I'm going to cross rotate my fronts just for the heck of it even though RFB has been done 4 times in recent weeks. You never know what may work..... Mine is all stock w/no spacers.

Tijuana / american workmanship at it's best?

There's a reason they sit where they do on the jd power. But it's almost all fixable. This is a problem that haunts many vehicles over history, but the first time I've had a strange one.

eh, don't get excited. Forums bring out the worst in me/others. I try to limit exposure now-a-days.

Rotated one side last night (life without tools is hard) figured I'd stop there and see what happens.

I only rotated one side to help. Changed vibration... maybe? I'd say it's road but it happens a couple places on different highways. I'll track it down. Once my tools get here.. 29 sep.

I rotated one side. Seems to have changed the vibration. Maybe? It's hard to tell, it's not severe. It MAY be the road surface, but it happens on multiple highways but only at certain spots, which I do at the same speed every day.

I'll sort it when I get my tools.. 29 sep.
