Does any body Know??

Transmission Auto fluid change ATF-WS, Toyota doesn't know when you ask them or they just don,t want you to know. All information in the service manual doesn't tell you, so what's up. Something so simple can be so hard, how do you get the information you need so you can do it right? This is for 2005 Tacoma 4x4 I have not found information to clarify the amount of oil to be added. All I wanted to do was change old oil for new oil, the manual said you don't have to flush it Just drain it and fill. It goes from 1.32 Qts. than from dealer 2.60 Qts. checking by removing the check plug or removing check plug with the engine running in park, which is it? Have I miss something?
